Our Logo.
After 2 years of Dance YYC being in operation, our reach expanded to include Calgary and surrounding areas including Okotoks, Airdrie, Black Diamond, Canmore and Banff. With that we removed our name from the Calgary skyline and created a logo that all in the area can relate to - the rocky mountains.
Vision.
Dance YYC envisions a dynamic community of professionals, students, emerging artists, and enthusiasts being able to actively engage and utilize opportunities without the barriers of an algorithmic based platform.
Mission.
By focusing on organized information and creating opportunities, Dance YYC’s mission is to foster a community that encourages growth, engagement, and accessibility across dance sectors.
Mandate.
Dance YYC is an outreach and engagement organization dedicated to the movement arts community in Calgary and surrounding areas. Through our core programming, we provide opportunities to create, network, participate and share the art of movement with dancers and dance enthusiasts alike across generations.

Utilizing her education and experience in dance, graphic/web design, Christahh created the initiative for the movement arts community in Calgary and surrounding areas.
