Film submission requirements:
- Choreographers must be 18+
- Film must be completed to apply, at least 4 minutes, not including credits
- Movement can be in any style!
- Video content and music must be appropriate for all-ages event
- Choreographers can be from studios, training programs, companies or independent

For the 2024/25 season, DJD is seeking dancers who are passionate about jazz dance and the work of DJD for both our Company and Professional Training Program (PTP). In-person and video auditions are available.

The DJD professional company is the heart of the organization. We are creation-based and present a season of new work annually. Contracts run full-time for 36-42 weeks per year for a group of 8-12 dancers.

DJD’s Professional Training Program (PTP) was created to foster the development of skilled and knowledgeable jazz dance artists. The PTP cultivates a solid understanding of the history of jazz dance and music while building a high standard of jazz technique that emphasizes stylistic and vernacular nuance. Students receive continuous individual feedback, guidance, and encouragement to strive for excellence and attain their full potential as dance artists. Training at the DJD Dance Centre provides PTP dancers the opportunity to observe the artistry of our company’s dancers and choreographers, an environment that enriches the PTP experience.
