What draws you to dance on film?

Being a mentor to the youth through creating and filming is truly fun and energizing. It is also a collaborative project that we get to work together in a new and creative way. Dance on film is something we experience as professional artists, and it is refreshing to be able to allow the young dancers to have these experiences they normally wouldn't have access to. 

How does location play a role in your film?

The location we are using in our film project reflects the creepiness of the songs we have chosen. There are dark elements involved that connect to and express a horror theme to audiences. Through use of location we have been able to elevate the visual effects and create an overall feeling of uneasiness.

What do you want the world to know about your art?

NextGen Dance Projects stands for limitless, open-minded, and unique dance opportunities for youth! Connecting them to a possible future in dance differently than traditional programs.
