Meet Showcase Choreographer: Caroline

Caroline began her dance training in Hip-Hop in 2012 with Diversity Dance & Performing Arts. Through one of her teachers, she got the opportunity to audition for a local professional Hip-Hop crew called The Tomorrows and earned membership with them. She transitioned to Soul to Sole Dance Company in 2017 and graduated in 2020, having been trained in both competitive and recreational Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary/Modern, and Ballet. Caroline has also trained locally at UniverseSoul Dance, Dance Code, Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, and Millenium Dance Complex in LA.

As a member of The Tomorrows, Caroline participated in performance gigs around Calgary such as the Lilac Festival, Dance of Thrones, The Masked Canvas, and she participated in several professional dance/music videos. Caroline was a member from 2015 to 2020. Since then, she has focused on training in Heels dance with Liana Blackburn and experimenting with blends of styles. She discovered a passion for choreographing, filming, and editing dance videos of herself. In August 2024, she made her performance debut as CAROLINE, an independent dancer striving to create and perform as an act of self-love and self-actualization with the same goal always in mind: to influence others to express themselves creatively too.
