After over a year of darkness in Calgary theatres, dance artists are coming together to share a series of short works under the sun!

A quiet year in the dance industry brings a group of ever passionate and persevering performers, united together to share their craft. Join us as we celebrate a lively performance amongst the ambiance of the beautiful Riley Park Amphitheatre. Dancers will perform on Calgary’s newest COMMUNITY out-door portable dance floor made possible by the generous support and sponsorship of Rise Up YYC and Calgary Arts Development.

Audience members are encouraged to gather on the lawn, bring a picnic and get comfortable in this urban oasis while they watch an afternoon of fresh, experimental short works presented as a simple gift to the community! PWYC performance, we are delighted to make this available to EVERYONE, but please do consider a generous donation as ticket sales go directly to the artists. (Unable to pay for this event? This out-door concert will include works by: Katharina Schier, Alexandra Contreras, Samantha Ketsa (with Emily Sunderland & composition by Bray Jamieson), Kathryn Lee, Cindy Ansah and Deanna Witwer.
