YOU'RE INVITED to join ZOUK YYC for a free Brazilian Zouk class at Riley Park!

What is Brazilian Zouk?

Have you heard of Lambada? No? It's okay you should still come out

Yes? It's the baby of Lamba, Brazilian Zouk is a dance-infused with the elements of the fire you'd love from Latin dances, the flow + expressiveness of contemporary/classical movements, the swag and attitude from hip hop. This partner dance includes lots of hips, head movements, and connection-based body awareness that is sure to intrigue you!

Join Zouk YYC at Riley Park Oct 16th to learn some basics and see what we're all about!

This is a great opportunity to get some exercise in, meet new people, and learn something new!

A partner is NOT required to attend this event! HOWEVER, feel free to bring a partner to join the class if you are not comfortable with class rotations. (We get it, it's covid times do what's comfy for you!)

TIME:

2:00 - 3:30pm - Beginner Friendly Zouk Class

3:30pm - 6:00pm - Practica/Open Social
