Champion Hoop Dancer Beany John (Cree/Taino from Kehewin, Alberta) will lead participants in an Introductory Workshop to Hoop Dance. Come learn about the history, culture and forms of Hoop Dance! Gain experience and appreciation for this form of Indigenous dance and culture.
Hoops will be provided. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and bringing water. Everyone is welcome!
