Dances and Rhythms of Africa with Lua Shayenne
This April, join YENSA Festival for AFRICA VIBES: Dances & Rhythms of Africa with Lua Shayenne. Celebrate renewal, growth, and change in this African dance workshop. As nature blooms, we’ll use rhythm, movement, and community to reflect on personal growth and embrace transformation. Drawing from African traditions, this workshop invites you to shed old patterns and step into new possibilities through a Harvest rhythm. Together, we’ll connect with the pulse of the Earth, honoring the spirit within.

This dance workshop will offer an ALL-LEVELS experience of West African dance with live drum accompaniment.

These workshops are made possible with the support of Jörgen Dance / George Brown College Dance .
