What draws you to dance on film?

Through the U of C Dance Degree I was required to take a Dance on the Camera course. This also inspired the start of the NextGen Dance Film Festival during the pandemic - knowing there was a lack of performance opportunities that year and the city has U of C graduates who took that class and are working teachers.

What is a quote that resonates with you as an artist?

What other artistic project(s) are you currently working on?

Aside from running the current community outreach and engagement initiatives in YYC, YEG & YYZ, I am preparing additional expansions across Canada (Vancouver, you’re next!) and co-running NextGen Dance Projects with Sean Butler. I also launched Dance CO Entertainment to help connect artists and opportunities while helping both sides approach with professionalism.
