What inspires you as an artist?
As artists we get the most fulfillment when we get to share our work with the community and tell stories of our background and heritage through dance. We love our projects to be entertaining, yet educational so the audience always walks away with a new piece of knowledge. Bollywood movies and songs have always inspired us, but we are constantly inspired by our team of talented and motivated dancers that continue to learn, grow, and challenge themselves.
What other artistic project are you currently working on?
We are currently working on our second evening-length concert to be presented in December. This show is filled with elements of mystery, but will guarantee lots of entertainment. We are also in the midst of completing “A Virtual Journey Through India” dance on camera project which was made possible by a grant we received through the Canada Council of The Arts.
