The Eastside Dance Festival Society and Decidedly Jazz Danceworks Centre are hosting the 2nd annual Dance Teachers’ Professional Development Conference

January 25th and 26th, 2024 at DJD Centre between 9:00 am and 4:45 pm. The conference is open to all dance teachers in Calgary and aims to increase equity, diversity, and inclusion practices in every dance space.

The Conference is $175 per day, or $300 for a two-day pass. Dance Teachers in the CBE and CSSD have access to ATA professional development subsidies to cover travel, food,  and convention expenses (Applications for Locals 55 and 38 are attached). University Students have access to the conference at a 50% discount. If your dance studio can donate bursaries or scholarships to this year’s Eastside Dance Festival, we will cover the admission of one teacher from your organization. Space is limited so get your registration completed ASAP! Registration will close on December 20, 2023.
