Event by Contra Dance Calgary Group

After a really fun and successful dance in December, we would like to "keep on swinging" and do it again. Our next dance will be on Thursday, March 7 at the Sunalta Community Association. There's lots of street parking.

As usual, expect great music from Mercat Cross, lots of smiling people, and fun dances from caller Leslie Gotfrit. Contra dancing is easy to learn. If you can walk and count to 8 (preferably at the same time), you can dance! No partner or experience needed. Just bring comfy clothes, shoes you can dance in, and a water bottle.

Doors open at 6:45 to check in and mingle. The dance starts at 7:15 with an intro to contra dance lesson, and the first dance starts at 7:30.
